Frum Businesswoman in the Spotlight: Michelle Mozes

Meet Michelle Mozes,

Michelle is a freelance creative director specializing in business branding and marketing. She is based in New York.

She was pursuing a career in cartooning and animation, and was looking for ways to make money in college during the Great Recession while jobs in entertainment were scarce. Michelle had a low-paying graphic design job, but people started contacting her on the side to design logos, create ads, run websites, etc.

Her client based doubled in a matter of months. Business was coming in quickly through word of mouth, and she quit her in-house graphic design job to work on her own by 2010. Michelle’s clients come to her with a big dream for their business, or she helps them see the bigger picture by pitching marketing strategies. They work together to visualize the brand and the dream comes to life.

Michelle oversees that all marketing materials are visually cohesive and make sure that her clients are properly targeting their customers to increase success! Michelle loves using her Apple iPad Pro for designing. Her job requires mostly graphic design and illustration–the two things she loves doing most!
