Meet Aja Cohen

Aja is the founder of Transcendent Active, a women’s activewear brand centered around community, women, and modesty. She is based in Teaneck, NJ.

She attended Pratt where she studied and worked in fashion and then converted to Judaism at age 26.

Aja wanted to have a corporate fashion position, but left because her goals shifted and she wanted to focus more on her family.

When she was laid off she decided to start her own activewear brand because she is passionate about teaching yoga, so Transcendent Active was born! Her company uses locally made sustainable fabrics in all their products.

Aja thinks its important for women to make money on the side, stringy encourages entrepreneurship, and believes that budding entrepreneurs should let go of money attachment when starting a business. Take a look at her amazing brand!

Meet Rivky Fhima Rivky is a bookeeper and financial consultant based in Long Island. She works virtually and has clients all over the country. Rivky worked for a general contractor for years, learned bookeeping and then delved in on a forensic scope. She started her own company when she was expecting her third child four months after having her second. She has been in business for over 10 years.  Rivky helps small businesses maximize by reviewing their monthly profit loss reports, analyzing ways to save and grow at the same time, and offering support support where she can.
